Disappointed with Timberland's Customer Service and Durability I purchased two pairs of shoes from Timberland in May: Women's Euro Hiker Hiking Boots for myself and Men's Timberland PRO® Payload 6-Inch Steel-Toe Work Boots for my boyfriend, who works in construction. While the hiking boots are great, the work boots have been disappointing. After just two months of wearing them three times a week to job sites, they are showing more wear and tear than expected for boots marketed as durable. My boyfriend filled out the warranty return form and followed all the necessary steps, but despite being told we'd get a response in a week, we’ve heard nothing in over two weeks. He also called customer service and was treated unprofessionally, with one representative yelling at him. I’ve now followed up again via email this morning, and we still haven't received any kind of response. This lack of communication and poor customer service has been incredibly frustrating, especially given Timberland's reputation for high-quality work boots. I expected much better from such a well-known brand.
